We are currently recruiting quality young people to hit the ground as part of our Aurora team.
Aurora is primarily an 11-month journey in the company of NSYFC (although we are willing to discuss possibilities of 3-month or 6-month placements.)
There is no set program for this year, instead we aim to be flexible and meet your unique needs as you explore the possibility of ministry with youth and children and the continuing excitement of life with Jesus. We offer a year of personal growth and practical ministry experience with children and young people across North Staffordshire. There is no set schedule; instead we operate a 3-stream programme, with a focus on either church based, schools based, or specialist focussed ministry, designing a personal development plan uniquely for each worker: a unique mix of training, mentoring, work in primary and secondary schools, church placement, events and missions, retreats and much more...
Aurora might be a 'year out' in between, school, university or a secular job. Alternatively it might be a beginning of a long-term commitment to full-time ministry. Whatever Aurora is for you, we hope it will be a year of immense personal growth and increased Godliness and a chance to better understand your own gifts and calling. It's an opportunity to learn much, to try out new things and to continue to walk closer and closer with Jesus each day.
So whether you're finishing school, a graduate or just want to take time to discover what God might have for your future... we'd love to explore what might be the best fit for you by configuring a year that allows you to shine and see others brought into the kingdom of God, from right here in North Staffordshire.
